From 24 April new affiliates can buy an upgrade package without first having KYC documents approved. KYC documents must however be sent as soon after as possible to keep the affiliate position active.
So what are KYC documents? Photographic evidence such as passport or driving licence; and a Utility Bill dated within the past 3 months – this can be bank document, electic or phone bill, local utility bill, tv licence etc.
Why are KYC documents needed? KYC prove to Karatbars that you are a real person. If you open a bank account you need to provide these documents. In fact recently I had to engage a specialist solicitor and needed to provide KYC documents to prove my identity.
